Challenge:

Mehrer Drywall associates with All Noise Control; Mehrer Drywall was about to set in motion with a project. The project had to do with the ceiling; they need a product that would be ideal solution for industrial and office environments. Mehrer Drywall needed the product to prevent sound transmission as well as reducing reverberation from the ceiling. Merhrer Drywall knew that All Noise Control would have a resolution to their dilemma. Brothers Morris and Don Mehrer, journeymen in the drywall industry, incorporated Mehrer Drywall, Inc. in 1963. In 1978, they built offices and warehouses in Seattle’s Magnolia area to keep up with their expanding business. Mehrer Drywall felt 100% confident that their preference to use All Noise Control products was their right decision.

Goal:

The main goal of the project was to introduce Mehrer Drywall with a product that would be ideal to their requirements. Prevent sound transmission as well as reducing reverberation, the noise loss ability of existing acoustic ceiling tiles. All Noise Control had to find a combination of the barrier and melamine foam, which makes a perfect ceiling tile addition for reducing noise traveling through substandard ceiling tiles.

Solution:

All Noise Control notified Mehrer Drywall that we had a product that would be ideal. The product introduced to Mehrer Drywall is the Acoustical Ceiling Tile Barrier (ANC-CTBF22.) This would is the solution to the request that Mehrer Drywall was interested. All Noise Control would be able to provide Mehrer Drywall with the product, once the two companies had discussed the dimensions of the area. All Noise Control would be able to place the order of the product.

About The Product:

The Acoustical Ceiling Tile Barrier (ANC-CTBF22) has fiberglass backing, class 1 fire rated with 1-pound vinyl 1/8″ thick with aluminized Mylar facing. STC rating of 29.All Noise Control ceiling tile barriers are a cost effective, industrial strength soundproofing and noise control solution. You can use our ceiling tile barriers by laying it on top of existing commercial ceiling tiles with the fiberglass side down.

Success:
