Acoustic Wall Panels for Museum

MOCA – the famous Museum of Contemporary Art in Florida had acoustic problems typical in large spaces. Volume & open spaces, with large flat surfaces are ideal settings for echo, reverberation and other acoustic problems. Visitors could hear whispers across the room making private conversation difficult. MOCA required an absorption material that was aesthetically pleasing and non-distracting – to essentially stop the sound and allow the art to stand out. They needed to absorb the sound bouncing off the ceiling, floor and walls that travelled from exhibit to exhibit, while not interfering or distracting from the artwork displayed. Our ANC-3000 Acoustical Wall Panels was an ideal candidate. It can stand up to high traffic areas while not wearing, is Class A fire rated and available in 48 fabric Guilford colors.

Animal Shelters Noise Control & Soundproofing Solutions

This environment is someplace that cost-effective soundproofing and noise control are important to keep noise to comfortable levels. To control animal noise ( such as barking dogs ) a noise control solution must dramatically reduce the ambient noise levels within the room. Since it is nearly impossible to eliminate the sound of barking dogs and other such animal noise, our sound specialists can help achieve a comfortable noise level by making all your walls, ceilings, floors and other structures less reflective. This helps the barking dog noises from bouncing off walls and ceiling overall reducing echo and irritating noise issues.

Office Noise Control

Acoustics studies the sound and how it behaves in various environments. Sound effects such as absorption, reflection, refraction or interference are also studied by acoustics. The broad acceptance of the term ‘acoustics’ refers to all the aspects of sound. Until not long ago, the notions ‘acoustics’ and ‘sound’ referred to waves and elastic vibrations that humans could hear. However, in the twentieth century, the development of technology and science has led to the broadening of the field of acoustics, in that it now comprises aspects not directly related to the hearing process, such as intensities and frequencies which are above or below the audible limits of humans.

University of Michigan restores harmony in band room with Acoustic Foam

Educational facilities always have acoustic problems to solve. Whether it’s multi-purpose rooms, gymnasiums or sports centers, theaters, auditorium’s or music and band rooms, there’s a lot of noise in the educational industry. University of Michigan needed to find harmony in their frequently used band room. With the array of instrutments, varity of noise levels and active students, the sound in their band room has serious reverberation problems. Another major contributing factor in these types of rooms are the construction materials, most often exposed concrete which offers a disadvantage by promoting reverberation, echo and distortion of sound.

How To Soundproof Animal Shelter

Animal Shelters:

Controlling animal noise and the sounds of barking dogs in indoor animal shelters requires reduction of the ambient animal noise level within the room itself. Generally, these animal shelters and dog kennels are treated with sound absorptive materials, which will lower the reverberation (echo) time within the rooms.
